Vivianne Moore - Painter & Illustrator

Vivianne was born in Helston, Cornwall and showed an early love of drawing, selling her first painting aged 13 years.

Although she did not initially follow art as a career, she continued to paint, particularly when her children were small, concentrating on pen and ink, plus watercolour producing paintings of houses and pets, and selling her paintings all over the world..

As her children grew up she worked in playgroups, primary schools and youth clubs, teaching many children to draw and paint. Eventually, when her own children left home, she joined Cornwall College and trained as an Illustrator.

She continues to work in pen and ink, and watercolour, but also in acrylics, expressing her love of the countryside to portray birds, animals and the beautiful Cornish countryside, and has recently begun painting vintage vehicles.

She is happy to accept commissions. Please contact viv@mooreart.co.uk to discuss your requirements. Paintings on the site may be purchased (mounted and ready for framing) Cost £12.00 including postage and packing.

David Moore - Photographer

David was born in Leyton, east London in 1950 and qualified as a pharmacist in 1972.

He had an interest in photography even from an early age when he was given a Kodak Brownie 127 camera, (and managed to make all eight photos last for a two week holiday!) Working in pharmacies helped this interest and now he takes photos using a Minolta Dimage Z5 digital camera.

His other main interest is vintage buses. He's secretary & a director of The Isle of Wight Bus Museum. Thus the mainstay of his collection is transport related.
